Meet the Community Affairs Team
The Nicor Gas Community Affairs Team members serve as liaisons between the company and leaders in more than 650 communities throughout our service territory that spans approximately 17,000 square miles over the northern third of the state of Illinois. We establish and maintain relationships with mayors and village presidents, city and village managers, fire chiefs, economic development leaders, finance directors and public works directors. Our members also have the privilege of serving as Nicor Gas representatives on nonprofit boards, chambers of commerce and economic development organizations, in support of Nicor Gas’ commitment to invest in programs and initiatives that invigorate the economy, enrich the community, enhance diversity, promote education and a skilled workforce, and support environmental stewardship. We are ready to provide assistance to its community partners.
