For your convenience, choose from one of the following ways to receive a paperless version of your bill through:
- Mobile Wallet: Receive and pay your bill through your smartphone's mobile wallet - Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Pay (Android).
- My Account: Receive an email when your bill is ready to view and pay online through My Account. Username and password required.
This online bill management and payment tool allows you to:
- Enroll in paperless billing, AutoPay and the Budget Plan.
- Establish payment arrangements.
- View your bill and payment history, natural gas usage and past meter readings.
- Chat with a customer service representative.
Budget Plan. Even out the seasonal highs and lows of your natural gas bill by enrolling in our Budget Plan. Enroll in the Budget Plan with AutoPay and paperless billing for even more convenience.
AutoPay. Safely and conveniently have your bill payment automatically deducted from your bank account or credit card each month for free. If you choose to use AutoPay with your credit card you will automatically be enrolled in paperless billing. Please note it may take a billing cycle or two after you enroll for AutoPay to be set up on your account.
Gift Payment. Give the gift of warmth by making a gift payment toward someone’s Nicor Gas bill! Fill in, print and mail the gift payment form or call us at 888.642.6748.
Community Action Agencies
Contact your nearest Community Action Agency to find out if you qualify for our energy assistance programs, what paperwork you need to bring to apply, and to arrange an appointment to meet with an agency representative.

Fraud Protection
While it is often easy to identify Nicor Gas workers at a construction or work site, you may also see meter readers, leak surveyors and other field service representatives in your neighborhood as they go about our normal course of business.
Security and Privacy
At Nicor Gas, we are committed to protect your privacy. Nicor Gas uses secure socket layering (SSL) to encrypt your personal information, which is the industry standard for secure online transactions.
Your payment account is retained only for the payment of your Nicor Gas bill. Nicor Gas does not retain financial information for one-time payments without your permission.
In addition, consumer protection laws protect you against the unauthorized use of your credit card. Under federal law, if someone steals your credit card or your credit card number, your liability is limited to fifty dollars ($50) regardless of the amount the perpetrator charges to your account.
Nicor Gas will use the information you give us to provide you with offers and promotions from the Nicor Gas family of companies or to provide you with your historical gas usage.
